ONGOING PROJECTS

The Science Behind Active Immunity

Certified Innovation

Research is at the core of what we do. In our laboratories in Bucharest and Ilfov, we lead advanced applied immunology projects focused on:

  • Extracting immunologically active proteins (IgY, ovotransferrin, lysozyme) from immunized eggs

  • Developing tailored formulas for specific pathogens

  • Conducting clinical trials to assess product efficacy against antibiotic-resistant infections, autoimmune conditions, and immune imbalances

We collaborate with leading research institutes and university hospitals in Romania and across Europe to ensure rigorous scientific validation.

HOW THE TECHNOLOGY WORKS

Where Biotechnology Meets Nature

Our technology is based on the immunization of hens with antigens derived from human pathogens. This stimulates the bird’s immune system to produce antibodies (IgY), which are naturally transferred to the egg yolk.

Once extracted and purified, these proteins offer a natural, effective, and safe source of immunoglobulins – with specific reactivity and no adverse effects.

Process overview:

  • Isolation and inactivation of human pathogens

  • Vaccine development and hen immunization

  • Egg collection and protein fraction extraction

  • Purification and lyophilization of active proteins

  • Validation via ELISA, agglutination, diffusion, and other tests

SCIENTIFIC PUBLICATIONS & EVIDENCE

Our research is supported by in vitro testing and clinical case studies. Key findings include:

Up to 99% reduction in bacterial proliferation

Inhibition of fungal growth (Candida albicans)

Accelerated healing in psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and post-surgical infections

We are committed to publishing results in leading medical journals and have received recognition for our methods in several EU countries and the U.S.

Looking Ahead: The Next Generation of Immunomodulators

We believe IgY is the key to a new era in treatment:

  • Does not interfere with beneficial microbiota

  • Does not lead to bacterial resistance

  • Offers multiple applications: oral, topical, preventive

We are also exploring IgY applications in rare diseases, immunosenescence, COVID-19, and chronic inflammatory conditions.
